The EACOP project
The EACOP project
Reaching a total audience of 4,559, the teams at Dynamo performed Scovia Nnansamba’s “The Investor” play in 3 languages. The goal of the Drama was not only to educate the Pipeline-affected people (PAPs) on financial discipline but also to enlighten them about the role of banks in their financial development, while encouraging them to open bank accounts where their payments would be deposited. The project lasted for at least three weeks, with four teams: one performing Luganda, one performing Luganda and Lunyoro, and two teams performing Luganda and Runyankore. The team first pitched the script in English, then presented the same play in three languages before receiving approval. They later performed in districts such as Masaka, Hoima, Kikuube, and Mubende.
INCONTROL reloaded
Formerly known as a rich kid’s condition, ‘Asthma’ could finally be taken to the schools through Acacia’s INCONTROL reloaded campaign, where INCONTROL, a pay by Tunde Euba, was performed for select secondary schools. The play was performed 7 times, which included one adult show at Sharing Hall, nsambya and six school shows at prominent schools in Kampala and Wakiso.
